Bosch Rexroth Korea, a wholly owned subsidiary of the global German auto parts producer Bosch Rexroth AG, has begun operations at its new Busan factory.
Busan Metropolitan City and Bosch Rexroth Korea Ltd. held a completion ceremony at the factory October 15, 2013. About 150 participants including Busan Mayor Hur Namsik, Member of the Executive Board of Bosch Rexroth AG, Dr. Bertram Hoffmann, and Representative Director of Bosch Rexroth Korea, Mr. Albrecht Benz attended the ceremony.
The new factory is built on a 44,380 square meter area located in the Mieum Parts Industrial Complex (MPIC) of the BJFEZ (Busan-Jinhae Free Economic Zone). The new production facility consists of an office building for headquarters, an industrial hydraulics manufacturing factory and a warehouse which occupy a total of 17,000 square meters.,
The products from the new factory will be supplied to Hyundai Heavy Industries, STX Metal and Doosan Heavy Industries & Construction.
Bosch Rexroth Korea Ltd. was established in 2001, with sales in 2011 reaching 124.3 billion won.
