Economic exchanges have been carried out between the Barcelona Chamber of Commerce and the Busan Chamber of Commerce and Industry since they established their sister relationship on the 2nd of November, 1995.
Former Mayor CHOI Jong-ho of Busan and former Mayor Pasqual Maragall signed the sister city relationship agreement on the 25th of October, 1983 in Barcelona.
