□ Busan Metropolitan City, in partnership with the Busan International Architecture Festival Organizing Committee, is proud to present the Ttubeok Ttubeok Architecture Tour every weekend through February next year.
○ This citizen-focused initiative invites participants to delve into Busan’s architectural landscape on foot, deepening their appreciation for the city’s evolving urban fabric.
○ It welcomes anyone with an interest in urban planning and design.
□ The architecture tour features five routes that showcase Busan’s diverse architectural, historical, and cultural treasures: ▲ Centum City Architecture (Haeundae-gu), ▲ UN & Cultural Architecture (Nam-gu), ▲ Old Downtown Architecture (Jung-gu), ▲ Dongnae Traditional Architecture (Dongnae-gu), and ▲ Sanbokdoro (mountainside road) Architecture Architecture (Dong-gu), newly added in 2025.
○ Centum City Architecture: Space Lee Ufan at the Busan Museum of Art, BEXCO, Shinsegae Department Store, Busan Cinema Center (exploring signature contemporary landmarks in the Centum City area)
○ UN & Cultural Architecture: Busan Museum of Art, Busan Cultural Center, National Memorial Museum of Forced Mobilization under Japanese Occupation, United Nations Peace Memorial Hall, United Nations Memorial Cemetery (visiting key institutions of peace and remembrance)
○ Old Downtown Architecture: Baeksan Memorial Hall, Busan Meteorological Observatory, Busan Cathedral of the Anglican Church, Busan Modern & Contemporary History Museum Annex (offering a glimpse into Busan’s historical heart)
○ Dongnae Traditional Architecture: Janggwancheong (Office of Military Affairs), Dongheon (Magistrate's Office), Dongnaehyanggyo Confucian School (tracing the legacy of Joseon Dongnaebu and the roots of Busan)
○ Sanbokdoro (mountainside road) Architecture: Busan Eurasia Platform, former Baekje Hospital, guesthouses ‘Five Trees’ and ‘Catnap,’ 168 The Deck, Ibagu Workshop, Sanbok Road Exhibition Hall (highlighting Busan’s layered charm as a global port city)
□ The Sanbokdoro (mountainside road) Architecture route will officially launch on May 10, 2025.
□ Each 2.5-hour walking tour is guided by a Busan architecture docent who provides insightful and informative commentary.
□ Reservations can be made on the Busan International Architecture Festival website (http://www.biacf.or.kr/), with a 5,000 won fee that includes a route-specific souvenir.
○ The architecture tour will not operate on Mondays, public holidays, or during the Busan International Architecture Festival from September 17 to 21.

Ttubeok Ttubeok Architecture Tour
ㅇPeriod: March 2025~February 2026, Saturdays at 14:00 & Sundays at 10:00 (minimum of 3 attendees required)
