Sosopung Festival: Domoheon’s Spring Blooms into Flowers
◈ The first cultural celebration since Domoheon’s opening is slated for April 5 to 27, 2025 at Sosopung Garden.
◈ A wide range of programs will unfold under the theme ‘Domoheon’s Spring Blooms into Flowers.’

□ Busan Metropolitan City will host the 2025 Sosopung Festival, marking the first cultural event that invites citizens to Domoheon.
○ The event will be held at Sosopung Garden under the theme ‘Domoheon’s Spring Blooms into Flowers,’ from April 5 to 27, 2025.

□ The festival will be jam-packed with:
▲Opening Performance, ▲Spring Flower Festival Garden Program, ▲Cultural Performances (jazz and classical music concerts, magic show), ▲Meditation Experience, ▲Sosopung Poetry Library, and ▲A vibrant array of side events
□ The Opening Performance on the 5th of April at 14:00 is a collaborative effort with the Busan Cultural Center, designed to share Domoheon’s past, present, and future with the public.
○ The Busan Metropolitan Junior Chorus and Busan Metropolitan Traditional Orchestra will perform, celebrating Domoheon’s rebirth as a cultural space for citizens.
□ The festival will also provide family visitors with relaxation through:
▲Magic show and weekend events during weeks 1 and 2 and ▲Meditation experience, jazz concert, and garden classical concert during weeks 3 and 4.
○ The magic show, featuring seafood and balloon art, weekend events, meditation experience, jazz concert, and garden classical concert will captivate and impress attendees.
□ Admission is free for all citizens; however, reservations are required for select programs.

□ Domoheon was remodeled from the Open Event Hall (former Busan Mayor’s Residence) and unveiled to the public for the first time in 40 years on September 24, 2024. It has been transformed into an elegant cultural complex for the enjoyment of the citizens of Busan.
