Busan Releases Music Video for New Theme Song ‘Busan is good’
□ The music video for ‘Busan is good’ was released on March 5, 2025, via ‘BusanTube’ (www.youtube.com/@Busan_is_good). This theme song boasts lively lyrics and an uplifting melody.
○ Debuting on January 13, 2025, ‘Busan is good’ represents Busan’s brand identity and highlights the charm of Busan as ‘a city where you want to live in again and again.’ The song also reflects the city’s potential and vision as a global hub, fostering civic pride and emotional connections. Its lyrics and melody radiate vitality and youthfulness.
○ What makes the ‘Busan is good’ project even more special is its collaborative nature. Organized by the Media Officer, the song was written, composed, and sung by public officials and citizens. Passionate individuals who love both Busan and music came together to deliver a heartfelt message through this project.
□ The music video also stars young musicians and local artists alongside public officials.
○ It was filmed at some of Busan’s most iconic landmarks—Gwangandaegyo Bridge, Bukhangdaegyo Bridge, Domoheon, the Busan Cinema Center, and the Busan Concert Hall, which is set to open in June 2025. It also includes scenes of busking and spontaneous participation from citizens, creating an emotional and relatable experience.
□ Additionally, the music video incorporates clips and photos capturing joyful moments from citizens, selected through the ‘What Does Your Busan Look Like?’ contest.
