Busan Concert Hall, the City’s First Dedicated Classical Music Venue, Launches Its Official Website

□ Classical Busan has officially opened the website for Busan Concert Hall.

○ The website offers comprehensive information on performances, education programs, online ticketing, and venue rentals, making classical music more accessible and enjoyable for all.

□ The website comprises six main sections: performances, rentals, academy, news, customer center, and facility introduction, ensuring users can easily navigate and find what they need.

○ As a responsive platform, it functions seamlessly across all devices, including PCs, cell phones, and tablets, and automatically adjusts its screen size and layout for an optimized user experience.

□ A mobile ticketing service further enhances convenience, allowing audiences to enter the hall using just their smartphones—without concerns about lost or forgotten tickets. With barcode scanning at the entrance, check-in will be faster and more efficient.

○ E-tickets will be sent directly to their mobile devices.

□ The website also encompasses an online venue rental system, streamlining the application process. Event organizers can apply online and track their rental status in real time.

□ Classical Busan will soon reveal details about the Opening Festival, beginning with previews. Ticket sale schedules will be posted as well.

○ The grand opening concert will feature world-renowned classical musicians. Art director Chung Myung-whun will conduct the inaugural performance on June 20, and recitals by pianist Cho Seong-Jin and Sunwoo Yekwon will follow on the 22nd and 23rd, respectively.

□ Designed to bring classical music closer to both locals and tourists, the site is available in Korean (classicbusan.busan.go.kr) and English (classicbusan.busan.go.kr/Home/en/Main).
