Seollal Celebrations for the Year of the Blue Snake at the Busan Museum
Embark on a vibrant Seollal journey at the Busan Museum. The second floor lobby of the Busan Exhibition Hall will be beautifully adorned with charming snake-themed decorations, creating a delightful setting to explore traditional customs suitable for all ages. Outside in the yard, enjoy lively folk games such as gulleongsoi, paengi-chigi (top-spinning game), and jegichagi. Traditional costume and tea etiquette experiences will continue as part of the museum’s regular programs.
Throw yut sticks and find your fortune!

○ Location: Second floor lobby, Busan Exhibition Hall, Busan Museum
○ Activities: Receive fortune-telling cards based on yut stick throws, contribute to a collaborative snake graffiti art project
Folk Game Extravaganza in the Yard
○ Date: Monday, January 27~Thursday, January 30
○ Time: 10:00~17:00
○ Location: Yard in front of the Culture Experience Hall, Busan Museum
○ Activities: Experience folk games, such as paengi-chigi (top-spinning game), yutnori (traditional board game), tuho (traditional stick-throwing) and gulleongsoe (hoop-rolling)
The Busan Museum will be open to the public from January 27th to 30th during the Lunar New Year holiday and closed on January 31st.
