New Waves, Dazzling Waves -11th Haeundae Light Festival Opens
The 11th Haeundae Light Festival, themed 'New Waves, Dazzling Waves', opened on Decem-ber 14 and will continue until February 2 next year.
The most prominent aspect of this year's festival is the media art production. A large white castle in-stalled at the Haeundae Beach Event Square will feature a 3D media facade with the theme of snow'.
When you enter the entrance of Gunam-ro, you can see 'snow' falling for one minute every six minutes, and the 230-meter-long Aurora Road filled with snowballs shines in the sunlight during the day and sparkles under the lights at night.
A large tree at the end of Gunam-ro was also fitted this year that is a smart tree that can transmit video.
On December 31, a performance will be held at Haeundae Beach from 11pm, followed by a '2025 Countdown' with fireworks and a 1,000 drone show.
