Changes to Opening Hours of Domoheon During Busan Fireworks Festival on Nov. 9
□ Busan Metropolitan City will adjust the operating hours of Domoheon on November 9th, 2024, the day of the 19th Busan Fireworks Festival, to prevent congestion and ensure safety. From 5:30 p.m., those with admission tickets will only be admitted.
○ On the 9th, Domoheon will be closed at 5:00 p.m., and the last entry time will be 3:00 p.m..
○ Starting at 5:30 p.m., admission tickets will be distributed to 300 people by order of arrival at the Domoheon entrance. Domoheon will reopen for ticket holders.
Changes to Opening Hours of Domoheon on Nov. 9th
- (regular) 10:00 a.m.-9:00 p.m. ‣ (temporary) 10:00 a.m.-5:00 p.m. (entry accepted until 3:00 p.m.)
□ There will be a 300-person attendance limit to avoid overcrowding. Security guards will be deployed at the main building, promenade, garden, and surrounding roads.
○ Due to tall buildings and trees nearby, fireworks displays may not be fully visible in Domoheon, unlike Gwangalli Beach.
□ Since September 24th, 2024, Domoheon has emerged as a new cultural space, with an average of 1,400 local and foreign visitors on weekdays and 2,300 on weekends. During the first month of its operations, the number of guests exceeded 50,000.
○ Domoheon is open Tuesday through Friday and Sunday between 10:00 a.m. and 6:00 p.m. and Saturday between 10:00 a.m. and 9:00 p.m.—closed on Mondays and national holidays.
