Chuseok is celebrated on the 15th day of the 8th month of the lunar calendar, one of the biggest and most important holidays in Korea. Family members from near and far come together to share food and stories and give thanks to their ancestors. This year, Chuseok falls on Tuesday, September 17. The holiday period is from September 16th to 18th, which includes the day before and after Chuseok.
