Haeundae Spa Facility Designated as Busan’s First Hot Spring Resort!

□ The city of Busan has announced that “ClubD Oasis,” a spa facility near Haeundae Beach, has been designated as a “hot spring resort”, the first such spa to receive this title in Busan.
□ A “hot spring resort” refers to a hot spring designated by a city or provincial governor, with the approval of the Minister of the Interior and Safety, as suitable for the promotion of health and physical and mental recovery thanks to its excellent temperature, water composition, and great surroundings.
○ To be designated as a “hot spring resort”, a hot spring’s water should be above 35℃. If the temperature is above 25℃, the water should contain more than 1,000 mg/L of substances beneficial to the human body, such as sulfur and carbonic acid. Such hot springs should also meet strict facility standards as set by the Ministry of the Interior and Safety.
□ The “ClubD Oasis” hot spring facility qualified as a “hot spring resort” following an evaluation by the Ministry of the Interior and Safety last December. As Busan's first hot spring resort, Club D Oasis aims to establish a reputation as a high-quality spa facility in Korea in association with the abundant tourism resources in and around Haeundae.
