The singalong music video for "Keep Going," the official song of Busan's bid to host the 2030 World Expo, has been released ahead of the announcement of the host city slated for late next month.
Busan Metropolitan City on Oct. 16 said the music video for the tune by pop singer CHUU and the campaign's global supporters is on the city's official YouTube channel and the bid's website and social media.
Featuring a playful synthesizer sound, "Keep Going" conveys Busan's wish to host a World Expo that inspires people all over the world in the city's blue waters and shares everyone's wishes.
The video shows CHUU and the bid's global supporters wearing T-shirts inscribed with the message "Busan Expo Keep Going" to add to the campaign's cheering mood.
The city said it will use the video on both on and offline channels to create an atmosphere for promoting the bid.
Busan Mayor Park Heong-joon said, "With the release of the singalong video featuring pop singer CHUU and our global supporters, I wish for all the people of the Republic of Korea to unite to back Busan's hosting bid."
