The Asia Contents Awards (ACA), an annual event to celebrate the achievements of excellent content on TV, OTT, and online platforms across Korea and Asia, is going global this year, and returning as the 2023 Asia Contents Awards & Global OTT Awards.
ACA 2023, Expanding to the Global Stage!
17 Awards Categories from Best Contents and Artists to Online Video Streaming Platforms!
This year’s ACA joins forces with the International OTT Festival, co-hosted by the Ministry of Science and ICT and Busan Metropolitan City. The event expands its topography from Asia to the world. Rebranding itself as “Asia Contents Awards & Global OTT Awards (ACA & G.OTT Awards)” this year, the Awards embraces changes in the growing content industry and encourages domestic and international well-made content. It is expected to serve as a stepping stone for excellent content to branch out into the global market by raising its global awareness.
In line with the regional expansion, the 2023 ACA & G.OTT Awards restructured the programs and presents a total of 17 award categories including 5 newly added awards. The Awards celebrates 10 awards in competition, which include Best Creative Award for the most outstanding content of the year, Best Lead Actor/Actress, Best Supporting Actor/Actress, and the newly added Best Reality & Variety Award. It also hosts 7 awards by invitation such as Lifetime Achievement Award and Rising Star of the Year. The event also highlights streamers that have contributed for the global media industry and presents awards specially designated for the OTT service providers.
Meanwhile, the submissions for the 2023 Asia Contents Awards & Global OTT Awards nominees, will begin in the first week of August. More details on the 2023 Asia Contents Awards & Global OTT Awards, which will be held on Oct 8 (Sun), can be found on the official ACA website (http://www.globalottawards.org/).
