The culture and art market, ‘Boogi Store’ is set to take place on Saturday, April 8 at Busan Citizens Park.
The market will be held every Saturday until the end of October at Busan Citizens Park.
During the market’s third year visitors are able to come and appreciate the pieces on display, as wellas buy works ranging from paintings and crafts to other creative items from new and young local artists.
The culture and art market, named “Boogi Store”, refers to ‘Boogi’, Busan’s public outreach character. About 50 booths will be set up with artworks, crafts, textiles and fashion items for display and sale, along with art classes and activities for visitors to take part in.
Various performances, including street art, busking and more, are scheduled to be held during the market.
Under the concept of ‘Art Picnic’, this year’s market will be organized with monthly themes such as, ‘pleasant’, ‘environment’, ‘memory’ and ‘rest’ at Busan Citizens Park.
The market takes place every Saturday in April, May, September and October from 1:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m. The market will be closed from June to August due to unpredictable changes in weather conditions. Admission is free
