The city of Busan and Busan World Expo 2030 Pan-Citizen Attraction Committee have completed a huge rice paddy crop art piece to raise support for the 2030 World Expo in Busan.
A stunning piece of crop art is emerging across a rice field in Daejeo-dong*, Gangseo-gu. An enormous picture of Boggi, Busan’s public outreach character and also official mascot of the 2030 World Expo Busan with the official slogan '2030부산세계박람회 부산에 유치해' meaning "Right here in Busan" host the 2030 World Expo in Busan, stretches across a 8,610 square meter rice field and is attracting a lot of attention.

The composition has been created by strategically arranging and growing different colors of rice plants.
This crop art has been created by the Agricultural Technology Center of Busan Metropolitan City since June. The Expo Citizen Volunteer group was involved in the rice planting.
The Agricultural Technology Center plans to create another crop art piece for the 2030 World Expo Busan at the same location next year.
