Boogi, Busan’s public outreach character welcomes visitors to Busan at the city's gateways.
The City of Busan installed welcome photo zones utilizing Boogi, Busan’s public outreach character, at city gateways and major tourist attractions.
The photo zones have been installed indoors and outdoors at Busan Station, Gimhae International Airport, Busan Port International Passenger Terminal, Yongdusan Park and Taejongdae to provide various photo spots for tourists.
The city conducted a survey asking residents about the design of the photo zones on its official website and social media channel last November. As a result of the survey, the two popular designs were selected and applied to the photo zones. A welcome message in 12 different languages displayed at the photo zone provides foreign tourists visiting Busan with a sense of togetherness.
The photo taking event takes place on social media from March 21 to March 31, 2022.
People can participate in the event by posting their two photos taken at two different photo zones on their social media account with the hash tags #부산역포토존, #김해공항포토존, #부산국제여객터미널포토존, #용두산포토존, #태종대포토존.
Busan souvenirs will be provided to the first 50 participants.
