BTS Member RM Visits Busan Museum of Art

RM, the leader of the K-pop global sensation BTS, recently visited the Busan Museum of Art and posted a photo on his social media account. According to the Busan Museum of Art, RM visited the Museum of Art on February 6 to see the ‘Christian Boltanski: 4.4’ exhibition and posted 4 photos of the artworks on display at the exhibition on his Instagram on February 7.
This is not the first time art lover RM has visited the Busan Museum of Art. He visited the exhibition showcasing artwork from Lee Ufan at the Busan Museum of Art, Space Lee Ufan in June 2019 and the exhibition ‘Highlighting Contemporary Artist III: Kim Chong-hak’ in May 2020 at the Busan Museum of Art.
He wrote in the guestbook on his visit in 2020, ‘Hope that we can overcome this difficult time together through Kim Chonghak’s state of ‘rhythmic vitality’.’
Lee Ufan and His Friends III 《Christian Boltanski: 4.4》 is the artist’s largest retrospective event held in Korea under the subject of ‘death.’ Christian Boltanski, one of France's top contemporary artists, passed away last July. As the title “4.4” suggests, in the awareness that this would be his last exhibition while he was still alive, the artist, through his works at the exhibition, poses questions of “death”, a theme he has been exploring throughout his life.
The exhibition will take place until March 27, 2022 on the 3rd floor of the Busan Museum of Art and the 1st floor of Space Lee Ufan.
