Busan-based International Students and Foreign Residents Volunteer in Low-income Neighborhoods in Busan

Busan-based international students and foreign residents visited Anchang Village in Dong-gu, Busan to deliver coal briquettes, heating fuel and face masks to the low-income neighborhood on November 13, 2021. Also, a Kimchi-making and exchange event took place on November 20, 2021 at Dong-gu Office square.
The City of Busan has been carrying out social contribution activities jointly with the Busan Foundation for International Cooperation, Youth & Multicultural International Service Corps, Busan Multicultural International School, KOICA Busan Branch and multicultural communities. It is the 7th year of the event for Busan-based international students and foreign residents to have participated in the volunteer activities.
The group has had a good influence through their volunteering efforts to meet the needs of local communities going through difficult times during the COVID-19 outbreak.
