Busan International Kids&Youth Film Festival calls for applications for the 2021 Poster Drawing Contest!

As the only international kids' film festival in Korea, it provides not only pleasures but also a ground for visual arts education to the young generation.

The festival screens a wide range of films which are for children or made by children, together with colorful events attracting huge attention of cineastes from all over the world while achieving recognition as a Kids&Youth-centered film festival.

In every edition, BIKY has made its beautiful official poster by collecting drawings from children with their amazing imagination and wit. It is remade into a poster in the form of ‘collage’, after artists’ design works with the selected drawings.

Busan City of Film started to co-host the contest from 2019 by cooperating with other UNESCO Creative Cities of Film. In this year’s edition, 6 cities including Potsdam, Sarajevo, Terrassa, and Galway joined us, and Malin from Potsdam received the 1st prize.

Following the 2020 edition, Busan City of Film hosts the ‘2021 BIKY Poster Drawing Contest’ with UNESCO Creative Cities of Film.

All drawings sent from cities of film will be included in the 2021 BIKY’s official poster and will be exhibited during BIKY period. Furthermore, Busan City of Film will select one drawing among them as a winner to grant prizes.

Busan City of Film is looking forward to your interest and participation! :)
