Busan Appoints Additional Global Real Estate Agencies for Foreigners

The City of Busan appointed 13 new global real estate agencies in July 2019.

This is part of the city’s overall effort to establish a more convenient living environment for foreign residents in Busan and nurture global real estate experts.

32 Busan-based real estate agencies had until June 21, 2019 to apply for the additional designation. After a review process that tested language ability and real estate knowledge, seven agencies offering services in English, three in Japanese and three in Mandarin were designated as global real estate agencies.

Previously, 53 real estate agencies (31 in English, 16 in Japanese, 6 in Mandarin) had been operating under the designation since 2011. Along with the previously appointed 52 global real estate agencies (one of them went out of business), the newest global real estate agencies began operations with their new distinction in July 2019.
