Underground Passageway connecting Busan Train Station and Metro Station Opened on July 1

The City of Busan announced that the underground passageway connecting the metro and train stations at Busan Station opened on July 1, 2019.

The 99.6 meters long and 8 meters wide underground passageway has a 50 meter two-way moving walkway and 4 escalators as well as an elevator for the convenience of those who need assistance.

Visitors to Busan train station are now able to get to the metro station underground without having to walk across the square.

The City of Busan has been carrying out the underground passageway construction project since April 2011, along with building the Busan Station Bus Transfer Center.
