The Busanjin-gu Office will provide free public Wi-Fi service to the Jeonpo Café District starting in December 2018.

Without any additional cost, a wireless internet service is to be established within the Jeonpo Café District. As part of the street light replacement project, decrepit street lights within the Jeonpo Café District have been replaced by LED street lights that will include public Wi-Fi. This pilot project is planned to be expanded to other areas in Busanjin-gu. The City of Busan’s Smart City Project also plans to establish free Wi-Fi zones all around the city by 2021.

While walking around Jeonpo’s café streets, visitors can conveniently connect to the free wireless internet service.

The New York Times featured Busan as one of the 52 places to go in 2017 and highlighted the Jeonpo Café District in Busan in its article. The Jeonpo Café District is one of the places creatively transformed in Busan through an urban regeneration project
