The City of Busan has announced that Busan has been selected as Lonely Planet’s best destination in Asia for 2018, on July 11^th.

 

The city is lauded for its "stunning confluence of scenery, culture and cuisine”.

 

This achievement is the result of the City of Busan’s tourism policy, which includes expanding global tourism content, enhancing preparations for oversea tourists, and the continuing customized promotion of the city’s tourism by country. 

 

Busan, a seaside metropolis, is now Asia’s most exciting city to visit. The city’s unique attractions -  spectacular food to try, fascinating culture to discover, beaches to explore, and imposing mountains to hike – has its value acknowledged by Lonely Planet, the largest travel guide book publisher in the world.
