Want to get creative? Head to Gwangbok-dong (neighborhood).
"Creative Shop," a business that was launched last year in the remodeled site of a former post office, celebrated its one-year anniversary last month.
The store, located near Nampo Station on Metro line 1, offers nearly 60 different products from a number of Busan-based businesses.
Creative Shop is operated by the city of Busan and the Busan Economic Promotion Agency. It sells a wide variety of local products, such as postcards, key rings, magnets, mirrors and accessories. Each product carries with it a little bit of Busan, which makes this an especially great stop for any international tourists looking to send a few locally-minded souvenirs back home.
Products for sale at Creative Shop can be found on the first floor and exhibitions on various products and other special events can be found on the second floor. The store also holds flea markets, event hosting, candle making, drawing classes and much more.
Creative Shop officials have several upcoming projects planned, including becoming an affiliate member of several payment and tourism programs, including China's popular Alipay program and the Busan Tourism Card program. An online shopping mall is also planned.
