Busan Architectural Tour Takes Place Every Weekend in 2018

Busan Architectural Tour in 2017 

The Busan International Architectural Culture Festival (BIACF) is hosting the Busan Architectural Tour every Saturday and Sunday from March to November in 2018.

 

The tour aims to promote Busan’s outstanding urban architecture to Korean and foreign tourists and residents. The guided tour will be provided in Korean and has three courses - Architecture Tour in Old Town, Centum City and Culture Belt.

 

Old Town Architecture Tour

Busan Cathedral of the Anglican Church of Korea, Busan Modern History Museum, Busan Provincial Meteorological Administration, The Old Hansung Bank Busan Branch

 

Centum City Architecture Tour

DIO Implant, Busan Cultural Content Complex, Busan Cinema Center, Garden in Shinsegae Centum City Mall

 

Culture Belt Architecture Tour 

Busan Cultural Center, UN Memorial Cemetery, Appletree School, National Memorial Museum of Forced Mobilization under Japanese Occupation, United Nations Peace Memorial Hall 

 

The tour begins at 2:00 p.m. every Saturday and 10:00 a.m. every Sunday and takes about three hours. Online registration is required at www.biacf.or.kr. (Korean) The tour requires at least three attendees to register until the day before the tour date. 

The tour costs 5,000 won per person and souvenirs will be provided to participants.

The Busan International Architectural Culture Festival (BAF) is an open and public organization that has been hosting a variety of events since 2001, including international design competitions, academic conferences and lectures, workshops, exhibitions, events, and research service projects in order to seek and implement ways to develop the architecture and city environment of Busan with the participation of architects and interested citizens.
