In
celebration of Korea’s biggest holiday, the Lunar New Year, various events – Korean
traditional folk games and performances will take place at Busan Citizens Park
from Thursday, February 15 to Sunday, February 18.
Visitors can
have fun playing yut, a Korean shuttlecock game (jegichagi), a top-spinning
game (paengi-chigi), and Tuho (arrow throwing) at Busan Citizens Park and Song
Sang-hyeon Square from February 15 to February 18.
The Korean
folk game competition - Jegichagi, Tuho and Ddakji game will be held on
February 17th and 18th at 2:00 p.m. at the outside stage
of the visitors’ center in the park. Anyone can join the competition.
The Busan
Art Group will present Korean traditional art performances on February 17th and
18th from 3:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m. at Pororo library outdoor stage in the park.
