The IT Expo Busan 2018 will be held at the BEXCO Exhibition Center 2, BEXCO for three days from Wednesday, September 5 to Friday, September 7, 2018. It is jointly hosted by Busan Metropolitan City and Ministry of Science and ICT and supervised by Busan IT Industry Promotion Agency.
After it was held for the first time in 2005, IT Expo Busan advanced into a B2C-centered exhibition. Since 2013, it has been transformed into a specialized complex event combined with B2B-centered conferences, consulting sessions, and exhibitions. Co-organized with 'ITU Telecom World,' one of the world's largest ICT events in the previous year, 'IT Expo Busan' has become a specialized IT event that currently represents the southeast areas of Korea. The expo contributes to maximizing the substantial marketing effect and business performance of IT and SW companies. In particular, it has played a considerable role in presenting a future vision of the Busan-based ICT industry, sharing global ICT trends, and building networks between companies.
This year's exhibitions are mainly composed of ICT-based Convergence Pavilion, Shipbuilding/Marine Engineering Pavilion, SW/Contents Pavilion, Mobile/ Communication/ Broadcast Pavilion, and ICT Startup Pavilion. Around 100 booths representing 80 companies will exhibit. In addition, a variety of additional events will be held to draw great attention of everyday visitors and those involved in relevant industries, including 'Network Reception' and 'Foreign Buyer Consulting,' which will invite 70 or more buyers from Asia and Europe.
