The
Environment & Energy Tech 2018(ENTECH 2018), which is Korea's largest
global environment and energy exhibition, takes place at the BEXCO Exhibition
Center 1, BEXCO for three days from Wednesday, September 5 to Friday, September
7, 2018. Jointly hosted by Busan Metropolitan City and Kookje Newspaper and
jointly supervised by BEXCO and Today Energy, the exhibition boasts the
nation’s largest size with 800 booths representing 300 companies from 10
countries.
With the launch of the New Climate Regime, the
Korean government has focused on the decarbonization of electricity,
acceleration in the development of new renewable energy, and the supply of safe
and clean energy. Accordingly, Busan Metropolitan City is also planning to
realize "Clean Energy Provider, Busan." In response to this mission,
this year's exhibition is scheduled to introduce the new renewable energy
supply policies of Busan Metropolitan City and display various eco-friendly and
new renewable energy products. Thus, many domestic and overseas industry
experts are expected to visit the exhibition.
The tech exhibition will operate Industry
Pavilion, which features the Environmental Industry, Green Products, New
Renewable Energy, Power Station, Gas Industry, and Electrical Transportation
Equipment. In addition, Experience Pavilion will provide visitors an
opportunity to experience in person different responses to recently emerging
environmental problems. These programs are expected to help visitors have a
good grasp of the changes in the environment and energy industry. In
particular, new and renewable energy-based, environmental-friendly
transportation equipment designed to address air pollution issues such as
particulate matters, is also expected to attract a high level of interest.
Furthermore, the exhibition will include an
export consulting session attended by participating companies and foreign
buyers. A public demand consulting session aimed at enhancing domestic demands
and pioneering a public utility market will also be offered. The unique
consulting sessions will be available in order to contribute to the promotion
of export routes and the expansion of business networks for participating
companies. There also will be ‘Busan Global Water Forum,' ‘Compulsory Education
of the Korea Electric Engineers Association,' ‘International Workshop on Water
and Wastewater,' and 10 specialized industry seminars. These events are
expected to provide opportunities to share the latest technologies related to
environment-friendly and new and renewable energy industry fields and present a
vision for the next-generation energy industry.
