The 2018 Busan International Medical Tourism Convention, which is the nation's largest exhibition for international medical tourism and medical experience, takes place at the BEXCO Exhibition Center 1, BEXCO for two days from Friday, August 31 to Saturday, September 1, 2018.
The 10th ‘Busan International Medical Tourism Convention' is jointly hosted by Busan Metropolitan City and Busan Ilbo and supervised by Busan Medical Industry Association. This year, the convention mainly focuses on ‘Medical Tourism,' ‘Medical Experience,' ‘Medical Industry,' and ‘Special Exhibit Pavilion,' with 180 booths of around 100 companies involved in the medical and tourism industry. In particular, the participants will include major university hospitals, hospitals and clinics, health examination centers, medical industry-related companies, and tourist agencies, which are all based in Busan.
The convention is also expected to attract foreign buyers from 10 countries, including China, Russia, Mongolia, Kazakhstan, Malaysia, and Japan, as well as about 40,000 visitors. In addition to the exhibition, Buyer Matching Business Consultation, Medical Industry Seminar, and FAM tour are scheduled to be held. Compared to 2017, additional and more diverse events and experience programs will be provided this year as a forum for active business exchange.
