The 21st Busan International Travel Fair takes place at the BEXCO Exhibition Center 1, BEXCO for four days from Friday, September 7 to Monday, September 10, 2018. The fair, held under the slogan of "The World to Busan, Busan to The World," will become a special travel festival together with about 40 countries. The fair will provide a wealth of tour information of each country to visitors. In addition, it will serve as an opportunity to promote tour exchanges and international friendships through the participation of domestic and overseas local governments, those in the tourism industry, and other visitors. The fair also aims to contribute to the development of tourist businesses and stimulate the market for inbound tourism in Busan areas.
The fair consists of a variety of special programs and events, including ‘Domestic Travel Promotion Pavilion,' which is attended by local governments, public institutions, and tourism-related institutions and associations, ‘Overseas Tour Promotion Pavilion,' attended by invited embassies and tourist boards from around 40 countries, ‘Special Travel Packages Sales Pavilion,' featuring special offer domestic and foreign travel packages, ‘Travel Products Sales Pavilion,' which sells leisure and travel goods, etc., and ‘World Food Festival,' where visitors can sample and buy foods from various countries. The fair will also comprise ‘Tourist Business Pavilion,' ‘Mega Event Promotion Pavilion,' and ‘Travel Information Exchange Pavilion.' Additional diverse events will be provided, including ‘Domestic and Foreign Traditional Performances,' ‘Traditional Culture Experience Pavilion,' ‘World Traditional Clothes Experience Pavilion,' and ‘Prize Lottery.'
The Busan International Travel Fair is held on an international scale in an era of globalization. The event is expected to continue to offer an abundance of travel information of the world and contribute to the development of the Busan travel industry.
