The Busan Metropolitan City announced that it held a social contribution fund donation ceremony at 4:30 PM on April 18 in the 7th-floor conference room at City Hall, in cooperation with the Bu-Ul-Gyeong Regional Headquarters of the National Health Insurance Service (NHIS), led by Director Cho Joon-hee.

Attendees included Vice Mayor for Administrative Affairs Lee Jun-seung, Director Cho Joon-hee, and representatives from relevant youth support facilities, totaling approximately 10 participants.

At the ceremony, the NHIS Bu-Ul-Gyeong Headquarters donated KRW 30 million in social contribution funds to support vulnerable youth. The funds will be delivered to:

• ●Out-of-school youth support centers

• ●Youth shelters

The donation will be used to:

• ●Support education and certification programs for out-of-school youth

• ●Cover educational and medical expenses for youth living in shelters

Director Cho Joon-hee of the NHIS Bu-Ul-Gyeong Headquarters stated:

“We hope that this donation helps vulnerable youth build self-reliance and improves their well-being. We will continue to foster communication and compassion while supporting our local communities.”

Since 2019, the NHIS Bu-Ul-Gyeong Regional Headquarters has supported out-of-school youth centers and has recently expanded its efforts to include childcare facility support, operating a range of community-focused social contribution programs.
