The lobby of Busan City Hall is being transformed, twice a month, into a concert hall, thanks to the magical musicianship of Busan Philharmonic Orchestra.
Concerts have previously been held from time to time in the City Hall lobby, providing city officials and citizens with unexpected pleasure. The concerts’ popularity has led to the decision that the orchestra should hold a concert twice a month in the lobby, starting January.
From April until June, the concert will be held in the Lighthouse Square, outside the City Hall, so that as many citizens as possible can share the cultural enjoyment of the music festival during the warm, green spring days. Not only classical music but also energetic percussion and traditional Korean musical performances are expected to bring Busan citizens closer together and enhance the City Hall as a cultural space.
