BIPAF is the very first seasonal international performing arts festival. It starts on the 1st of May and lasts for 10 days (First week of May). One of the greatest aspects of BIPAF is its ability to introduce new and exciting performances to audiences in
3) The special programs with diversity
BIPAF has several programs which have different themes for each section. The main part of the festivals is called the < BIPAF Main>. Another section focuses on family and is called the < Family Section>. This particular section is very important to the Korean people. The family is a central element in Korean culture. The month of May is particularly important because several family oriented holidays take place during this time. May is therefore a time for gathering and family bonding. BIPAF also has 2 distinctive special programs. The first of which is called the < International Mime Artist Workshop>. Three world class mime artists will be invited by BIPAF to direct various styles of performances. Each director will be given the same list of themes, which they are required to direct. These themes will include : folk tales, legends and traditional poems. These performances will provide the Korean actors with valuable new techniques and experiences. These unique performances will be presented and towards the end of the festival.

5) The Rapid Progress for 6 years
The BIPAF has enjoyed a lot of success during its five-year existence. Each year the festival continues to grow and attract the best performances. BIPAF has continued to reach a high level of excellence for three consecutive years. The Busan Metro city has been vital to the continued success of BIPAF.

2) The Anticipation
Our initiative results from the belief that by bringing the world’s artistic communities closer together in common projects and creative thinking, the public is made aware that the theatre world is inclusive and welcoming – rather than a closed institution available only to the few.
BIPAF persistently strives for new visions to become the festival of constant awakening and continuous transformation.
