○ The Economist Intelligence Unit within the Economist Group, a global media company, conducts a comprehensive evaluation of living conditions in major cities across the world and publishes the Global Liveability Index Report each year.
○ The Global Liveability Index is composed of five key criteria: stability, healthcare, culture & environment, education and infrastructure. The Economist Intelligence Unit released the 2024 report on June 26, 2024.
□ In 2024, Busan Metropolitan City scored 87 points overall, getting into the high 80s for the second year running, and continued to hold sixth place in Asia.
