A large statue of a polar bear was installed at Dadaepo Beach as a symbol of environmental protection.
The international organization, Foundation for Environmental Education (FEE), grants international certifications along with blue flags to eco-friendly beaches and green keys to highly sustainable and eco-friendly parks.
Dadaepo Beach and Beach Park both obtained certifications last year in Saha-gu.
