Public Banned from Visiting Yeongnak Park and Memorial Park during Lunar New Year Holidays

National cemeteries across the Republic of Korea will be closed to the public during the Lunar New Year holidays (Feb. 11 to Feb. 14) as part of measures to curb the spread of COVID-19.


Yeongnak Park and Memorial Park will be temporarily closed from February 11 to February 14, 2021 during the Lunar New Year holidays. Except over the Lunar New Year holidays, parks will be open to visitors during limited hours (9AM to 6PM) between January 30 and February 21 through a reservation system.


During memorial services for the enshrined, the ceremonial room and the family lounge will be closed. Bringing in water and eating indoors will also be prohibited.
