2018 Kimchi Making for Charity Event Takes Place in Busan

The City of Busan hosted the 2018 Kimchi Making for Charity Event at Busan Asiad Main Stadium on November 16 starting at 9:30 a.m.
At the year-end charity event, 27 Busan-based companies and organizations donated 132 million won, and about 2,000 volunteers, along with Mayor Oh and his wife, participated in the event.
20,000 heads of kimchi, which were made by volunteers from Busan-based companies, public organizations, groups and individuals attending the event, will be given to the underprivileged, elderly one-person households, orphaned children, soup kitchens and welfare centers in Busan.
Mayor Oh delivered his words of appreciation to all company, organization, individual and volunteer event supporters. The city is keen to take the lead in promoting a sharing culture to create a happy city.
