Into the Charm of Dadaepo at the 28th Busan Sea Festival
□ Busan Metropolitan City announced that the 28th Busan Sea Festival, a notable summer celebration, would take place at Dadaepo Beach over three days from July 26th through the 28th.
□ On the 26th, the festival will kick off with the ‘Dadae Fireworks Show’ and ‘Night Pool Party,’ brightening up the summer night.
○ The Dadae Fireworks Show features colorful fireworks at dusk along Dadaepo Beach, a prime sunset spot. It will light up the night sky from 20:00 for 22 minutes with the theme ‘Memory, a bridge between the past and present and the power to move forward’.
○ The Night Pool Party, considered the festival's ultimate event, is a stand-up gathering party in a pool at Dadaepo Beach from 19:00 to 22:00.
○ One side of the white sandy beach will be jam-packed with 'Dadae Pocha,' which carry beer, highballs, and palatable pairings with them amid the nighttime magic.
□ ‘Citizen Involvement Programs’ selected through a public competition with the theme of 'Busan, Summer, and Sea' and 'Experiential Programs’ will invite all to join in from every corner of Dadaepo Beach throughout the event period.
□ On the opening day—July 26, Dadaepo Beach will operate visitor management systems for safety. One lane of traffic on Dadae-ro and entry to nearby public parking lots will be restricted.
○ To prevent overcrowding, the number of visitors will be limited to 32,000 on the white sandy beach. Those denied admission to the event venue will be ushered to Gouni Ecological Trail or other spots to ensure the fireworks can be successfully viewed.
○ Due to insufficient parking capacity, festival-goers are strongly encouraged to use mass transportation.
