Story
Seo-gu Daesin-dong Flower Village is located on a hill at an altitude of 220m and refugees flocked to live in groups before and after the Korean War.
It started to be called 'Kkot (Flower) Village' after most of the villagers had made a living by cultivating flowers and sold chrysanthemums and carnations to flower shops in the city,
or sold them in front of the school at commencement or entrance ceremonies.
The great monk Muhak in the late Goryeo Dynasty looked about mountains while traveling around the country.
He finally arrived here and thought that the high vigor of this mountain looked like a crane (hak) flying (seung) so that he named it as Seunghaksan Mountain (496m above sea level).
