Definition and Roles

• The one who does the business of forwarding fisheries to Wholesale Market, collecting Fisheries products after registering the establisher of the wholesale market

The Registration of Distributor at the Place of Production (Operation Ordinance Article 25)

• He or she shall register as a distributor at the place of production to the establisher of the wholesale market to do the business of collection.
  ※ Anyone who do business without registration receives a prison term of up to 2 years or is fined up to 20 million won.(The Law,, Article 86, No. 4)
• Wholesale Market Company, intermediary wholesaler and their stockholders or staff cannot do the business of distribution at the place of production in the Wholesale Market. ※ Any offender receives the prison term of up to 1 year or is fined up to 10 million won(The Law, Article 88 No. 4)
• Distributor at the Place of Production shall not do business such as sale, purchase or mediation in the registered Wholesale Market other than Fisheries products forwarding (The Law, Article 88 No. 5)
• The establisher can take necessary actions like prohibition or restriction of entry to the Wholesale Market, etc. if anyone who is supposed to register does business without registration
• Anyone who wants to register as a distributor at the place of production shall submit an application for the registration that the establisher set to him or her.
• If anyone has registered as a distributor at the place of production, the establisher shall record this and issue a certificate of registration.
• The distributor at the place of production who receive the certificate of registration shall submit an application for registration in the case that the establisher has assigned if there is any change in the registration.

• In the case that comprehensive Fisheries products distribution center and exporters, etc. lists remaining stocks to Wholesale Market
• In the case that a Wholesale Market Company makes a purchase from another Wholesale Market Company or market wholesaler and and sells it based on the provisions of article 34, 【Exception of Transaction】
• In the case that a Wholesale Market Company make a purchases from another Wholesale Market
  Company according to the provisions of article 34 and sell it.
