Amisan Observatory, overlooking the Nakdong Estuary, is the best spot from which to view the heaven blessed landscape of sand bar islands, flocks of migratory birds taking to the air, and the beauty of the setting sun. The observatory's exhibits explain all about the topography and geological features of the Nakdong Estuary in a way that is fun and easy to understand.

The character was made with a soaring kite as a motif and named “Sol-A” after the initials of Solgae(kite) and Amisan Mountain.
