Amisan Observatory
Amisan Observatory, overlooking the Nakdong Estuary, is the best spot from which to view the heaven blessed landscape of sand bar islands, flocks of migratory birds taking to the air, and the beauty of the setting sun. The observatory's exhibits explain all about the topography and geological features of the Nakdong Estuary in a way that is fun and easy to understand.

From the side, you can see the building looks like birds sitting side by side, while from above it has shape of 2 sand banks next to each other

Character
The character was made with a soaring kite as a motif and named “Sol-A” after the initials of Solgae(kite) and Amisan Mountain.
General Information
- Viewing Hours: 09:00~18:00 (last entry 17:00)
- Closed: 1st January, Mondays, (or the next day if Monday is a national holiday)
- Admission: free of charge
- Time needed to tour the observatory : 20 minutes (autonomous viewing)
Be careful not to demage any of the exhibits or facilities; The bringing in of food, as well as drinking, smoking, in-line skating, cycling and pets are all prohibited, as is the removal of exhibits, books and equipment.
